Community Christian Church of Christ is dedicated to the restoration of the New Testament Church:

By Accepting the New Testament Authority:

  • Our authority is Jesus, God said "Hear ye Him." (Matt.17:5)
  • Jesus claimed, "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." (Matt. 28:18)

By Following the New Testament Plan of Salvation:

  • Faith - "But without faith it is impossible to please Him." (Heb. 11:6)
  • Repentance - "Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." (Luke 13:3)
  • Confession - "With the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Rom. 10:10)
  • Baptism - "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved." (Mark 16:16)

By Wearing the New Testament Name:

  • Individuals - "The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch." (Acts 11:26)

By Observing the New Testament Communion:

  • "This do in remembrance of me." (Luke 22:19)
  • "Upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread..." (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 11:28)

By Practicing the New Testament Stewardship:

  • "Even so (as in Old Testament times - Malachi 3:10) hath the Lord ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel." (1 Cor. 9:14)
  • "Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him." (1 Cor. 16:2)

By Living the New Testament Life:

  • "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread, and in prayers." (Acts 2:42)
  • "Grow in Grace." (II Peter 3:18; 1:5-10)
  • "Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life." (Rev. 2:10)

By Preaching the New Testament Gospel:

  • "But should we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." (Gal. 1:8; Mark 16:15)

It is not our mission to be another denomination, but rather to urge all religious people to return to the simple plan of God. It is our plea that this is a solution to the problems that confront a divided Christendom.
