Community Christian Church Activities

Community Christian Church holds several activities throughout the year.

• A skating party is held almost every month especially for the youth but anyone is invited to participate.
• Fellowship dinners are held every Wednesday night and throughout the year. The lady's of the church prepare these meals.
• Bible study is held every Wednesday night. Present courses include:
  • A Study of the Book of Acts. This course is taught by our minister, James Warren.
  • Youth - The youth are taught in different age groups.
• The Church Choir, directed by Mrs. Terry Joiner, practices each week for special music to be sung at the Sunday worship service plus special events such as the Christmas Cantata. The youth and children's choir, directed by Mrs. Jill Sanders and Mrs. Debbie Powlas, also practice each week.
• A Fifth Sunday Songfest is held on each fifth Sunday of the year. Anyone who wants to sing or give a testimonial is invited to do so.
• Witness in Harmony, a ladies group, consisting of seven of the ladies of the church, sing for special music and Fifth Sunday Songfest. Witness in Harmony also sings in the community.
• Youth Classes are also available on Sunday Morning and Sunday Night.
